- ➤ The Food Bank of Northern Nevada is building its first rural food hub in Elko to improve food access — funded by a $3 million grant from the Nevada Department of Agriculture — with renovations over 7,300 sqft expected to be complete later this year for Elko, White Pine, Eureka, and Lander counties. - ➤ Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is reviving Operation Easter Basket—seeking donations of pre-filled or empty baskets, books, coloring books, toys, cellophane and money to support local families. Contributions will aid the charity’s efforts in meeting community needs. KTVN
