  • ➤ The Washoe County Senior Center is set for a near $3 million renovation to enhance services for seniors.  KTVN
  • ➤ In Reno, workers distributed 200 turkeys and bags of groceries to families, alongside special toys for children.  KTVN

CRIME NEWS

  • ➤ A police sting by the Washoe County Sheriff's Office resulted in the rescue of 17 adults and one child from human trafficking and led to five felony arrests.  KTVN
  • ➤ A suspect remains at large after a drive-by shooting near the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony hospitalized one person with non-life-threatening injuries.  KTVN
  • ➤ Police are searching for two young men involved in an incident where a man was injured at a Big Lots in Sparks on October 12th.  KTVN

HEALTH NEWS

  • ➤ The Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation collaborated with Renown Children's Hospital to open a butterfly room.  KTVN
  • ➤ Northern Nevada now offers kidney transplant services with the opening of a new transplant institute.  KTVN
