- ➤ Washoe County School District halted tater tot service in 18 elementary schools after a student sustained a minor cut from glass-like material on Tuesday, Nov. 25. The district and distributor McCain Foods launched a full recall and notified the FDA and Northern Nevada Public Health. News4
- ➤ The Washoe County School District announced graduation ceremonies for 2026 will occur from June 2 to June 15, including Sparks High hosting its event at Lawlor Events Center on Thursday, June 11. Students + families should check local announcements for details. Reno Gazette-Journal
