- ➤ Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue will lead parades in Sun Valley, Spanish Springs, Cold Springs, South Reno, and Verdi/Mogul from December 11th to 15th to boost its annual toy drive that benefits Renown Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House—donations in cash, gift cards or toys in original packaging excluding plush toys will be accepted at TMFR stations between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Participants may enjoy hot chocolate and photos with Santa after each parade.
