HEALTH NEWS

➤ A new Leapfrog Group report from fall shows Nevada hospitals scored differently—hospitals in the Reno–Sparks area earned mostly A and B ratings while southern hospitals received more C grades. The report noted that Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks and Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Reno earned A ratings as part of overall figures of 7 A, 5 B and 6 C grades across 18 facilities.
