HEALTH NEWS

- ➤ Human Bean raised more than $15,000 last month during its Coffee for a Cure fundraiser, donating 100% of proceeds from five Reno and Sparks locations to Community Health Alliance to support breast cancer screenings for uninsured and underinsured women in northern Nevada. Cancer Care Coordinator Maria Partida said the $15,002.10 in funds will help ensure that women have access to life-saving screening services. KTVN
- ➤ Nevada Donor Network held its annual Hope Dinner on Thursday night to honor donor families and partners while Olympic bronze medalist Chris Klug—who recovered from a transplant—shared his inspiring journey with over 400 guests.
