EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Washoe County School Board presented WCSD Superintendent Joe Ernst’s first performance evaluation, which rated him effective and praised his work on lowering absenteeism and raising test scores—while noting a need for stronger teacher support. The board will vote on his raise, starting at 2 p.m. at the administration office at 435 E. Ninth St. Reno Gazette-Journal
