- ➤ Sam’s Club will expand its Sunday hours to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at most clubs beginning Oct. 12+ Plus members can still begin shopping early from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., and holiday hours will also be adjusted with some days remaining closed. Reno Gazette-Journal

- ➤ The Washoe County School District will begin accepting school of choice applications on Monday. KTVN
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ RTC Washoe has nearly finished demolishing the south bridge for the Arlington Avenue Bridges project in Wingfield Park and is clearing debris to prepare for excavation and new bridge construction. Crews will pour concrete on the north bridge next week and Arlington Avenue is closed with detours in place (as part of the 32 million project) while Wingfield Park will reopen in summer. KTVN
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Despite the federal shutdown, Nevada WIC clinics remain open so families can use their food benefits and attend appointments—officials said the program is monitoring the situation and will update participants as needed. KTVN
