ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Firefighters successfully contained a 5.5 acre wildfire near Spanish Springs High School, preventing damage to homes and buildings. KTVN
- ➤ Firefighters have successfully limited the expansion of the Bear Fire, currently 15% contained, prompting preparations for potential spread into Nevada. KTVN
- ➤ Eastbound I-80 lane near Sparks will be briefly closed on September 12 to allow debris removal from an environmentally-sensitive area. KTVN
