- ➤ Early Monday morning, emergency crews rescued a tired horse that fell into a covered backyard pool near Thomas Creek Road after it struggled for hours—rescuers used a backhoe to pull it out and blankets to keep it warm until Comstock Equine Hospital could check it, and the horse did not belong to the homeowner.
