CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Washoe County deputies in Cold Springs arrested Amber Luck, age 36, for child abuse or neglect and Jeremy Dalebout, age 48, for providing false statements to obstruct an officer after a 3 year old was found wandering alone on Tuesday, August 19—authorities said the child was safely returned home. KTVN
- ➤ Sparks Police say a 12-year-old runaway named Suelton Nixon (also known as Nino and diagnosed with autism) was found safe today after last being seen in a dark-colored shirt, blue shorts, and black shoes and may have tried to board a bus. KTVN
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Reno-Tahoe International Airport will add new pick-up and drop-off zones ahead of Burning Man—these changes are planned to ease traffic for event travelers. KTVN
- ➤ The Nevada Transportation Authority reminded potential burners to review travel safety guidelines as Burning Man nears — advice meant to help travelers plan safely. KTVN
