ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Crews halted the progress of the Ridge Fire north of Cold Springs on Sunday—no structures were lost and Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue stayed on scene to mop up across at least 10 acres. The cause of the fire has not been determined. Reno Gazette-Journal
- ➤ Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue crews responded to a brush fire in Cold Springs on August 3 that burned about 2 acres northeast of White Lake; officials said no structures were threatened and evacuations were not needed as additional resources including air support were en route. News4
- ➤ Early Sunday morning, the Sparks Fire Department put out a fire—contained to one room—at a home on Morninglory Drive. KTVN

- ➤ Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue said crews stopped forward progress on the Ridge Fire northeast of Cold Springs after it reached 10 acres earlier this afternoon—no evacuations were ordered and no structures were lost as crews remain on scene to secure the fire line. KTVN
