- ➤ A Sparks man was killed in a GSR shooting and his family said he worked over three decades in restaurants and casinos while loving to cook. KTVN
- ➤ Court documents show that Dakota Hawver — who had been ordered on July 21 to pay $582 monthly plus $5,700 in child support arrears for his 4-year-old — shot six people outside the Grand Sierra Resort on July 28, killing three and was pronounced dead overnight Wednesday while Sparks Police said no motive was established.
