- ➤ A fire broke out at two homes on Pinewood Drive Wednesday evening in Sparks and the Sparks Fire Department—along with Sparks Police, REMSA, and NV Energy—responded quickly to extinguish the flames, with no injuries reported and the cause under investigation. KTVN
- ➤ Firefighters fought an attic fire in a Sparks home on C Street between Rock Boulevard and 16th Street on Wednesday night — the Reno Fire Department led efforts before Sparks and Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue arrived, with power turned off, no people or pets inside, and no threat to nearby houses as C Street remains closed.
