- ➤ A minor was hospitalized after a motorcycle crash at the intersection of O'Callaghan Drive and E. Greenbrae Drive at about 11:42 p.m. on Friday, July 18 when the rider on an illegal motorcycle attempted to pass a car that could not stop in time—Sparks Police and Fire Departments responded as the major accident investigation team took over. - ➤ Local business Float Reno will soon offer a shuttle service + equipment rental for self-guided floats along the Truckee River to meet local interest. Rasheev Mishra said the new service comes in response to community feedback and is expected to launch later this summer. KTVN

CRIME NEWS
- ➤ The Sparks Police Department announced it identified a male and a female suspect in a Target theft on July 17 at about 6:24 p.m. when $750 of merchandise was stolen — the suspects left on foot and the department thanked the community and Washoe County Sheriff's Department for their assistance. - ➤ Sparks Police arrested Monica Coffman and Jason Vasquez just before 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 14 at Legends Bay Casino Parking lot for methamphetamine possession—both have been booked into Washoe County Detention Facility. KTVN
