- ➤ On Tuesday a wind-driven fire near Dolores Drive and Marie Way burned 104 acres in Sparks, forcing the evacuation of about 150 homes and leaving thousands without power while officials continue to investigate its cause—fire crews from multiple agencies worked to control the blaze.
