- ➤ A spring storm brings gusty winds, rain and snow to western Nevada, and a winter storm warning covers Donner Pass on I-80 from 2 a.m. today until 5 p.m. Wednesday. Winds may hit 50 mph and snowfall could fall 1 to 2 inches per hour, slowing travel on exposed Sierra routes. Reno Gazette-Journal
