Melanie Scheible introduced Senate Bill 442 on Monday to require utilities to report quarterly shutoff data broken down by month and zip code to make it easier to guide public assistance as nearly 32,000 Nevadans had their power cut for nonpayment last year + supporters say the bill could target aid where it is most needed while federal energy support remains in doubt and the committee took no action on the measure.  Reno Gazette-Journal
