- ➤ Waste Management will hold Free Dump Days at the Lockwood on April 17-19 and April 21-26 at its station on 2700 E. Mustang Road, operating Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.—the free event is limited to residents of Reno, Sparks, unincorporated Washoe and Storey County. KTVN
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Tahoe Knight Monsters lost the first game against the Utah Grizzlies at the Maverick Center and extended their losing streak to three games - power play issues affected their play throughout. They will try to reverse the trend on Saturday at 6:10 p.m. by playing again against the Grizzlies. KTVN
- ➤ On Saturday, Cristian Mena led the Reno Aces to a 6 to 1 win over the Tacoma Rainiers at Greater Nevada Field by pitching six effective innings with five strikeouts. Ildemaro Vargas hit his first home run of the season and the team will look to clinch the series in Sunday's finale at 1:05 p.m. KTVN
