The board recommended verifying that a contractor is licensed—using its website to check credentials before hiring. KTVN
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Today the windy, snowy conditions at Mount Rose Ski Resort have not stopped hundreds from riding chair lifts and skiing as the base now stands at 325 inches, promising a strong season. Marketing coordinator Julie Johnson said the resort will get about two feet more snow in the storm — visitors are advised to use marked trails and ride safely. KTVN
- ➤ The Reno Aces got their first win of the season when Tristin English hit a two-RBI double in the 7th inning to break a tie against the Las Vegas Aviators on Sunday at Las Vegas Ballpark. They won 9—4 and will use the win as a boost for their home opener on Tuesday, April 1 at 2:05 p.m. against the Tacoma Rainiers. KTVN
