- ➤ Hot August Nights, a 40-year local tradition, invites volunteers to help with the event. Two open houses are held Sat, Mar. 28 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and Tue, Mar. 31 (4 p.m. to 7 p.m.) at 1425 E. Greg St. in Sparks + roles require a 16-hour commitment. KTVN
