ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Washoe County divers recovered the body of 19-year-old Brian Marcellino Gallardo, who went underwater around 3 p.m. Saturday in the Truckee River, and officials advise anyone recreating there to use an approved floatation device and a buddy system (the river’s cold water has prompted rising rescue calls). EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Washoe County School District invites community members to review fourth-year math curriculum materials, including Precalculus, AP Calculus, & AP Statistics, through its online portal with comments accepted until April 3. The district will present the feedback later this year. KTVN

- ➤ Crews will work on the eastbound Mt. Rose Highway shoulder this week to improve road safety—motorists may experience brief delays. KTVN
