- ➤ Catholic Charities (Operation Easter Basket) is launching its annual program, asking for donations of baskets, books, coloring books, toys, cellophane and monetary contributions to help families in need. Contributions will be collected at local drop-off sites. KTVN

- ➤ Hot August Nights is celebrating its 40th anniversary and recruiting volunteers for various roles (including setup and event tasks) as the organization prepares for the upcoming celebration later this year. KTVN

- ➤ Nevada’s first female lieutenant governor, Sue Wagner, died at 86, and Governor Joe Lombardo ordered flags to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset in her honor. She broke barriers during decades of service in the Legislature as lieutenant governor and on the Gaming Commission. News4

- ➤ On Wednesday night, the Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball team defeated Murray State in the first round of the NIT. The win boosts their tournament run as they prepare for the next game. KTVN
