- ➤ Residents in Reno, Sparks and Washoe County are invited to complete the 2026 Parks and Recreation Service Plan Feasibility survey available online and by phone at 888-801-5368. The survey will be open until March 13 and takes about 10-12 minutes to finish. KTVN

- ➤ Nick the Greek + The Breakfast Club will expand with new locations in Sparks and Reno, offering additional meal options for local diners. Plans are underway and opening dates will be shared soon. KTVN
- ➤ Southwest Airlines announced a new nonstop flight between Reno-Tahoe International and Nashville International that will begin Oct. 1. The flight will depart Reno at 9:40 a.m. & Nashville at 1:25 p.m. as it aims to boost regional business and tourism. Reno Gazette-Journal

- ➤ Washoe County School District superintendent Joe Ernst reported a midyear self‑evaluation showing improvements in attendance, campus safety, and student engagement. - ➤ TMCC plans to open a new fire rescue training center plus it will offer instruction for first responders to meet growing community demand. KTVN
