EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Spanish Springs High School resumed normal operations after a lockdown alarm was mistakenly triggered by a technical error, with the Washoe County School District (9:23 a.m.) posting the alert and lifting the lockdown (just before 10 a.m.) on Thursday. KTVN
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ RTC is planning improvements along Lemmon Valley Drive and asking for community feedback on the project, which aims to enhance transit options. Residents can review the proposed changes and submit their responses as the project moves forward. KTVN
- ➤ TMFR released its 2025 statistics on Feb. 5, noting nearly 8,000 more calls than in 2024 (a sign of rising demand for its services). KTVN
