- ➤ The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that West Coast regular fuel prices rose to $3.83 per gallon on Monday, up from $3.70 last week. Prices are 33.5% above the national average of $2.87 & include Nevada while excluding California. Reno Gazette-Journal
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Sparks restaurants that cook with wood or coal will follow updated air quality rules easing permit costs. Owners may comment until Feb. 26 and join a workshop on Feb. 17 at the Northern Nevada Public Health Building B — revisions will restrict cooking on high-pollution winter days. News4

- ➤ The Nevada Office of Traffic Safety reminded drivers on Feb. 4 to choose a designate driver for Super Bowl weekend (a safety measure to help keep roads clear) and urged local residents to plan ahead. KTVN
