- ➤ On Tuesday, Boys & Girls Club staff in Truckee Meadows learned to fly drones during a mock race in Reno with help from the Desert Research Institute. They will soon use these skills to organize competitions that offer kids hands-on STEM learning + future career opportunities. KTVN
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ NDOW reported that a GPS-collared wolf spotted by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife had crossed into Nevada on Monday morning from the high-elevation Sierras near Lake Tahoe and was moving in the north Carson Range — a behavior typical of dispersing animals from neighboring states.
