  • TMFR conducted a survey to gather public opinion on what qualities they desire in a new chief.  KTVN
  • Central Sparks residents are invited to provide feedback on a plan aimed at enhancing pedestrian and bicyclist safety.  KTVN
  • The City of Sparks and Union Pacific have extended the timeframe for the public to collect bricks from a historic machine shop being demolished to expand Union Pacific's facilities, with pickups available from February 24 through April 5, 2025.  KTVN

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • The Plumas County Sheriff's Office recovered the body of 18-year-old Leonardo Mikelonis from the Feather River near Portola after he had fallen in earlier in the week.  KTVN

  • The Wienerschnitzel on Mill Street is closing due to the RTC's Mill Street project.  KTVN
  • The Wienerschnitzel on Mill Street is set to close this Friday due to a road expansion project by RTC, with plans to reopen at a new location.  KTVN
